After rounds of selection since June, more than 10 works entered the final, representing different subjects and styles and with local geographical, ethnic and cultural features. Focusing on such hot social issues as poverty reduction, neighbor relations and marriage and love, the works displayed new Jilin and its new rural areas in the new era, and let audiences feel the strong sense of happiness and gain of the common people in the new era.

Judges for the final agreed that the works were new in form and represented a high level of accomplishment and hoped to see more and better opera and Quyi works created by the public.
