Changchun Confucius Temple

Changchun Confucius Temple, located on Erdao Street in the old town area, was built in the eleventh year of the reign of Emperor Tongzhi during the Qing Dynasty in 1872 with the donation from country gentleman Zhu Chen.
The temple holds activities to commemorate Confucius every year as part of worldwide commemorations. The commemorative activities help display the cultural charm of Changchun to the rest of the world.
