Hot Spring Resort in Shennong Manor

The Shennong Hot Spring was built in May 2007 with a huge investment from the Dongfu Rice Co. Ltd. of Jinlin City. The Park, 5 million square meters in area, is a privately-owned enterprise with more than 30 million yuan of fixed assets. It offers services of accommodation, restaurants, entertainment, conferences, hot spring bath, folk-custom exhibitions and agricultural harvesting. The total investment for the park is 292 million yuan.

Of the total area of 5 million square meters, 100,000 square meters are for recreation and entertainment. The hot spring water is from the hot spring belt of the Changbai Mountain, which is 1,941 meters deep under the ground. The water temperature is 62℃. And there are more than 30 kinds of microelements and minerals in the water, including radon, soda, magnesium, sodium and sulphur.

The Shennong Hot Spring Co. Ltd. was set as a provincial agricultural tourist example in 2008. In the same year, it was awarded the title of “Advanced Company” and one of the “Best 10 Tourist Attractions” of the year. In 2009, it was awarded as the “Best Tourist Attraction”. In 2010, it was named an “Advanced Company” in population and family planning work and a “member of the Recreational Agricultural and Country Tourist Society under the Tourist Association of China”. In 2011, it was awarded the title of “Five-Star National Recreational Agricultural and Country Tourist Enterprise (Park)”. In Feb. of the same year, it was appointed as a national recreational agricultural and country tourist pilot; and in Aug., it was awarded the title of “Star Recreational Agricultural Tourist Enterprise of Jilin Province”.
