Jilin Jiangcheng Forest Botanical Garden

Jiangcheng Forest Botanical Garden is located  the 246 kilometers away from the Sibai Road (State Road 303), 2 kilometers from Dongfeng county seat in the west, and 9 kilometers from Meihekou District in the east.

Given its easy access in all directions, the garden becomes a tourist attraction and holiday resort where catering and recreation needs can also be met. The garden gate is quaint and the natural landscape is poetic, picturesque and tranquil, with attractive mountains, rivers, flowers, grass, pavilions, buildings and winding paths.

The area of forest and waters in the garden is 3.6 square kilometers. The Shuishan Park, covering an area of 8 hectares, has sightseeing boats and motorboats. The paved path in the forest extends for three kilometers.

There are also more than ten frame suspension bridges, rainbow-shaped bridges and corridor bridges. The garden also boasts a primeval secondary forest and an artificial forest of over 1.1 million trees of multiple kinds.

The spotted deer breeding base in the garden is the largest in Asia. Its nourishing products have long enjoyed a good reputation around the world.

A variety of wild animals inhabit the forest like grey cranes, pheasants, foxes, squirrels, leopard cat and so on. Close to a thousand traditional Chinese herbs, wild vegetables, and edible mushrooms grow on the mountains. More than thirty kinds of wild fishes, like grass carps, finless eels, cuttlefish, catfish live in the lakes.

The botanical garden, with its fascinating landscape, is like a fairyland on the earth.
