Transportation in Baishan

Flight

Changbai Mountain Airport is located in a forest, the first such airport in China,  at Songjianghe Town, Fusong County in Baishan City, 16 kilometers (linear distance) away from the local railway station. The street it is located on is about 11.5 kilometers away from the Songshan Highway Station on the eastern side of the Development Zone of Changbai Mountain Tourism Economy in Fusong. As a key project invested and built by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the Jilin Government, Changbai Mountain Airport meets the taking off and landing requirements of Boeing737 and Boeing 320.

Railway

Baishan Railway Station, standing in the east of the city, serves passengers leaving for various counties and county-level cities of Baishan (excluding Changbai County) and nearby cities.

Located near Baishan Railway Station, the city’s passenger transport station handles over 100 bus departures a day to main counties and cities in Jilin as well as to cities in surrounding provinces such as Dalian and Shenyang.
