Fusong County Lushuihe International Hunting Field

Fusong County Lushuihe International Hunting Field is 60 kilometers and 78 kilometers away from the main peak of Changbai Mountain and Fusong respectively. It is located in Lushu Town, Fushan County in the heartland of Changbai Mountain in the upper reach of Songhua River In southeast Jilin.

The hunting field covers an area of 35,800 hectares with varied altitudes ranging from 450 meters to 1100 meters. The whole field consists of a hunting area, a breeding area for wild animals and an area engaged in multiple other businesses. The hunting area includes four open hunting sections and an enclosed one of 2 square kilometers.

Home to pinus koraiensis, this field is dubbed a “Forest Bathroom” and “Oxygen Bar” for being the only reserve-seed pinus koraiensis forest in China and the largest one in Asia. The virgin forest is still its initial state. A complex landform of brooks, valleys and floodplains never fails to fascinate tourists. There are three rivers here, among which Banjie River is the most famous. Based on the river, “Biquan Lake” (also called Mineral Lake for its mineral water) was created, covering an area of about 3.33 hactares with an average depth of 1.5 meters.

Parking lot:

A free parking lot, large enough to hold 20-30 cars, is available near the mountain villa. 

Transportation: Fusong is about 70 kilometers away from Lushuihe and Lushuihe is about 32 kilometers away from the hunting field.

Self-driving:

Route 1: Tourists can drive for about 200 kilometers to Dunhua City from Jilin City, then another 150 kilometers to Baihe and the left 69 kilometers to Lushuihe National Forest Park.

Route 2: Tourists can drive about 320 kilometers to Fusong (Fusong is about 86 kilometers away from the west slope of Changbai Mountain and 14 kilometers away from Wanliang Ginseng Market) and drive another 102 kilometers to Lushuihe National Forest Park, 60 kilometers away from the north slope of Changbai Mountain.
