China Bodune Cultural Tourism Festival during the Dragon Boat Festival

The festival is held around the Dragon Boat Festival (Fifth of May in the lunar year) every year. There are activities such as Longhua Temple Fair, dragon boat race, group hiking, a sacrificial ceremony to the river, floating lanterns on the river, a beer festival and a food festival.

The festival received an award for being “the festival that most effectively passes down traditions” at the China's first Forum for Event and Festival Innovation. It is the most partaken festival in Songyuan.
