Dune Park

Dune Park is located on the north slope of the Zhanggu Peak in Fangchuan Scenic Area. It is a golden sand dune, covering an area of more than 1.2 million sq m, surrounded by thick forest, like a desert in a large oasis.

The sand feels fine and smooth. The sand skiing and sand bathing are interesting, and has special curing effects on some skin diseases, children’s anorexia and hyperactivity.

Beside the dune is a lake, 800 meters long and 700 meters wide, whose deepest point is about 17 meters. It is called Immortal Lake north of the Great Wall. The lake water is clear, and many fish live in the lake. The sand and the lake form a special peninsula extending to the mountain forest, and offer more alternative traveling activities for tourists such as swimming and fishing.
