Longtan Mountain Relics Park

The Longtan Mountain Relics Park, located in the east of Jilin City to the east of the Songhua River, is 234 hectares large with an altitude of 388.3 meters. It is a famous recreational garden. The mountain is covered by more than 1.2 million trees of nearly 100 kinds. Temples and natural scenes are combined together in harmony. There are Koguryo relics in the mountain. All these make the mountain a famous scenic area in the province and a famous urban forest park in China. It is named as one of the famous mountains in Jilin Province together with Zhuque, North, Xiaobaishan mountains. Main scenes in the mountain include the Koguryo relics, Longtan Lake, Hanlao (drought prison) and ancient temple group.
