Heroes’ Square

The Heroes’ Square is bounded by the Yingxiong Street to the south, the Gongyuan North Street on its back, the Martyrs’ Memorial Tower to the east and the Siping Municipal Committee of CPC to the west. Covering an area of 101,000 square meters, the Heroes’ Square was a martyrs’ cemetery early on and then rebuilt as a children’s playground. The square implies Siping is a birthplace of a lot of heroes. Composed of Sun Square, Moon Square, Performing Square, Geometry Square, pavilions, children’s playground and laser music fountain, Heroes’ Square is a red tourism spot and a pleasant place to have leisure and exercises.
