Baijifeng National Forest Park (AAAA-level Scenic Area)

The Baijifeng National Forest Park is about 20 kilometers from the suburbs of Tonghua City with an altitude of 1,318 meters. It is said that a meteorite dropped on the two peaks within the park from outside the Galaxy thousands of years ago. The hard meteorite is as white as snow and the two peaks shape like rooster, hence the name Baiji Peak (White Rooster Peak).

The park is notable for “Tiannvshuzhuang Cascade”, “Bangchui Peak”, “Shennvmuyu Waterfall”, “Qianbaiji Peak” and “Houbaiji Peak”. Among them, Tiannvshuzhuang is a natural cascade with three steps converged by mountain streams and springs. Its constantly flying flow constitutes a very spectacular picture. When scrambling up to the top of the Baiji Peak, you will feel like “overlooking other mountains”. You can also feel the same dangerousness, strangeness, awe in Tianqiao Peak as in Huashan Mountain. Besides, the ancient courier road is ready for you to appreciate scenery like ancient people, and boats in Yingshan Lake are available for you to enjoy water fun and beauty. With these in place, the picturesque Baiji Peak is as imaginary as a fairy land.

Parking:

There are five parking lots: Longmen Parking Lot allows each vehicle to park for 40 minutes at the cost of 10 yuan while the rest ones are free.

Transportation: The park is about 30 kilometers from Tonghua Railway Station and Passenger Transport Station (the old one) and about 29.5 kilometers away from New Station in Tonghua City.

Note: please keep attention to road signs.

Special tourist bus and public bus:

You can take bus No.1, 3, 6, 19 or 33 at the bus station of the Railway Station to the station of the New Station and then take No. 4 bus to Baijifeng National Forest Park. No. 4 bus takes off at 7:40 each day and leaves the forest park at 15:00. The single trip is 30 kilometers long and takes about one hour. There is only one shuttle bus a day.
