Meihekou Siji Ecological Park (AAA-level Scenic Area)

Meihekou Siji Ecological Park is located 19 kilometers to the southeast of Meihekou’s urban area. It has dense forest and a favorable ecological environment with a greenery coverage of up to 98%. This area has five mountains and four valleys. Continual water accumulation has given birth to five lakes surrounding mountains where people can fish and enjoy scenery by taking boat.

Several service areas have come into being: a sightseeing area in ancient style, a tourist activity zone, a food area, an art and sport area, a water amusement area, a flora and fauna watching area as well as an ice and snow sport area.

Various kinds of birds sing over a green sea of wild vegetables here in spring. Flowers of various kinds blossom in cool summer. Mountains and fields are decorated by wild fruits and fresh mushrooms in golden autumn. The vast area of forest in the park is blanked by snow in winter.

The Meihekou Siji Ecological Park is considered an ideal place for recreation, spending holidays, conference, camping and sightseeing with its dense and virgin greenery as well as agreeable and beautiful scenery.
