Ganfanpen Scenic Area

The Ganfanpen Scenic Area is located at the southern foot of Changbai Mountain in Jiangyuan County, about 160 kilometers from Changbai Mountain Scenic Area. Numerous adventurers come here to explore its steep and strange landform. Moreover, its mystery and grotequeness has earned it the nickname of “Bermuda” of Changbai Mountain in the world.

This area consists of six scenic sections including Bangchui Peak, Jiuqu Gorge, Han’ao Geographical Park, Maple Leave Hill, Shimen Gully and the Grotesque Stone Formation of Changbai Mountain.

Ticket price: 40 yuan per adult and 20 yuan per kid

Opening time: All year round, from 8:00 to 16:00

Parking:

There is a free parking lot able to accommodate 30 vehicles of various sizes.

Transportation:

Buses in Baishan are available to go to and return from Jiangyuan. The first bus leaves at 6:20 while the last ends at 17:40 with an interval of 5 minutes.

Self-driving: You should first drive for 220 meters southwest to Jiangyuan Street, then turn right for another 350 meters, turn left to No.201 National Highway in Heda Highway and then drive ahead for the rest 14.3 kilometers.
