Beishan Forest Botanical Garden

The Beishan Forest Botanical Garden is located in Beishan of Fusong Town in the heartland of Changbai Mountain where Toudao River and Erdao River meet. Surrounded by rivers on three sides, it has rich tourist resources and convenient transportation with an area of 130 hectares. Construction of the botanical garden commences in June 2005 and investment has so far reached 50 million yuan. It has 36 scenic spots including the mountain gate, artificial lakes of various sizes, seventeen distinctive antique pavilions, and five unique stone arch bridges and wooden bridge. Besides, a seven-layer wooden tower, a tea house, a Laobatou Ancestral Hall are under construction.

Parking:

There is a free parking lot in the scenic area able to accommodate 15 to 20 vehicles.

Transportation: Take a bus or taxis to the scenic area in Fusong Town

Self-driving:

Route 1: You can drive for 400 kilometers from Jilin City to Fusong and drive northward for about 2 kilometers after entering the town.

Route 2: You can drive for about 320 kilometers from Changchun to Fusong and drive northward for about 2 kilometers after entering the town. (Fusong is about 62 kilometers from the west slope of Changbai Mountain and 14 kilometers from Wanliang Ginseng Market of Changbai Mountain.)
