Introduction of Baicheng City

Baicheng City is located in the northwest of Jilin Province, west of Nenjiang Plain, east of the Horqin Grassland, which is also exactly at the intersection of Heilongjiang Province, Jilin Province, and Inner Mongolia.

It is one of the major traffic hubs on the fourth Eurasian Continental Bridge, which is designed and planned by the United Nations Development Program. Baicheng City covers 26,000 square kilometers, governing one district (Taobei district), two counties (Tongyu County, Zhenlai County), two county-level cities (Taonan City, Da’an City), three provincial-level development zones (Baicheng Economic Development Zone, Da’ an Economic Development Zone, Chaganhot Development Zone for Tourism Economy), five industrial concentration areas (Baicheng Industrial Park, Taobei, Tongyu, Zhenlai and Taonan industrial concentration Zones), 73 towns and 918 administrative villages. The population is 2.03 million, who belong to 29 ethnic groups including Han, Mongolian, Hui, Korean and Xibo.

Until 2013, the star hotels in this city is 7, among which one is four-star, 3 are three-star and three are two-star. There are 18 travel agencies in all, and one of them is a branch.
