Dragon-Tiger Pavilion

The Dragon-Tiger Pavilion is located in the Fangchuan Scenic Area, where China, Russia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea border with each other. Its main construction base takes the design of fortress, showing it is an indestructible point on the national border. Its top is an ancient Chinese style building, showing characteristics of the Chinese architectural culture.

The 13-story pavilion is 64.8 meters high. The first floor is an exhibition hall of Fangchuan’s history as a “golden triangle” region. The second floor is Fangchuan’s natural environment museum. From the third floor to the 12th floor is service zone and sight-seeing zone. Standing on the sight-seeing platform, people can see three countries’ border views at one glance. It is not only the best place to see the view, but also the best place to greet the first sunlight of a new year. A large number of travelers from home and abroad come to the pavilion to pray for good luck on the first day of every year.
