Joy Palace in Yanji

Yanji Joy Palace is a commercial tourism project based on Korean people’s folk culture. Tourists can experience the time-honored Korean culture, and see Yanbian’s picturesque landscape. The Joy Palace is made up of two parts: business service zone and theater zone. Its theater is one of China’s top 10 modern multi-funcation art theaters, and the largest of its kind in the province. Tianchi Lake Legend is a large dancing program on Korean folk culture and custom co-created by Yanji Tourist Distributing Center and Xuehai Opera Troupe of North Korea. There is a 1,200-square-meter indoor skating rink in the theater, open throughout a year. In the business service zone is tourist service center, tourist consultation zone, fast food restaurants and specialty commodity shops. The tourist consultation zone provides tourism services for travelers going to Changbai Mountain, Jingbo Lake, Fangchuan, etc at home, and Kumgang Mountain and Rason in North Korea and Vladivostok in Russia.
