The Grand Changbai Mountain Valley is located in the west scenic area of the Changbai Mountain. It is also called the Grand Jinjiang Valley. It is 14 km long, 100 meters deep at the deepest spot, and 300 meters wide at the widest point. Formed with cinerite and mud eroded by river and rain, it is a natural volcano lava “bonsai” with magnificent peaks, fantastic rocks, quiet valleys, beautiful rivers, ancient trees and valuable plants. The north Jinjiang River flows at the bottom of the valley with fantastic stones forming marvelous, beautiful scenes on both sides.
