Wujianfang Water-Island Park in Da’an

The Water-Island Park, part of the Wujianfang Reservoir and a national AA-level scenic area, is located in the west of Da’an City in Jilin Province. It is 40 km from Baicheng. Its water area is 27 square km with an average depth of 4.5 meters. The water storage is 26.7 million cubic meters. In the park, water surrounds 23 islands. There are entertainment programs on the islands where trees flourish and flowers bloom. The entertainment facilities include small wooden buildings, villas, zigzag bridge and “lighted city on water”. More than 30 kinds of birds inhabit here. Tours on the water are enchanting. There are 26 kinds of fish in the water.
