Shanmen Scenic Area

As a national AA-class scenic area, a famous provincial-level tourist spot and a patriotism educational base for youth, Shanmen Scenic Area is situated in Shanmen Town, Tiedong District, Siping City, Jilin Province, only 16 kilometers from the downtown. Adjoining Yehe Manchu County to the east and Changtu County, Liaoning Province to the west, the scenic area was built in 1981, and consists of Xinghua Mountain, Derentang Mountain and Shanmen Reservoir. Its fascinating natural landscape of mountains and rivers, together with profound cultural sights, forms a picturesque scenery.
