Songhua River Drifting

The Songhua River Drifting is a distinctive tourism program in Changbai Mountain. The river for drifting is formed by Songjiang River and Xiaosha River converging in Songjianghe Town. The drifting course runs for 6 or 7 kilometers and takes 90 to 120 minutes to finish. Drifters, while experiencing the thrill of the outdoor activity, will also be amazed by the distinctive natural views of Changbai Mountain area on both banks, including exotic plants. The river surface varies in width and gradient, delivering an exciting experience for tourists. Various drifting choices including “ Ecological Drifting”, “Drifting of Forest Oxygen Bar”, “Virgin Forest Drifting”, “Exciting and Adventurous Drifting”, and “Snow and Icy Drifting” are available.

There is a free parking lot in the scenic area able to accommodate 30 to 40 vehicles.

Transportation:

Fusong is about 28 kilometers away from Songjianghe Town and Songjianghe Town is about 8 kilometers away from the drifting area.

Self-driving:

Route 1: You can drive for 400 kilometers from Jilin to Fusong and another 36 kilometers to Songjianghe drifting area.

Route 2: You can drive for about 320 kilometers to Fusong from Changchun and another 36 kilometers to Songjianghe drifting area.
