Alpine Tundra Scenic Belt

The Alpine Tundra Scenic Belt is located in the west scene area between altitude 2,000 meters and top of the Changbai Mountain. Many plants are polar region plants left from the quatemary glacier. Rhododendron aureum, an evergreen, is famous as “Changbai camellia” because it blooms with bright color in snow.
