As a tourist spot strongly recommended by Ji’an City, the Gwanggaeto Folk Village is located in Taiwang Town of Ji’an City. Its buildings inherit the simplicity, elegance and solemnity from those of Koguryo. The planned area for the village is about 2.67 hectares among which the buildings cover 1, 500 square meters, large enough to serve 300 people with meal simultaneously. The food provided is mainly of Korean style but also includes special rural one typical of Ji’an. The outdoor square is taken as a platform for bonfire party and performing songs and dances of Korean ethnic group. With facilities like an exhibition hall for showing Koguryo calligraphy and statues of 28 Koguryo emperors, the village has evolved into an important place to experience folk-custom tourism in Ji’an.
