Geological Museum of Jilin University

Established in 1952, the Geological Museum of Jilin University, with an exhibition area of 1500 square meters, is renowned both domestically and internationally for the richness, quintessence and distinctiveness of its collections. The museum is one of China’s and even Asia’s famous geological museums. It consists of the Science Promotion Hall and the Dinosaur Hall. The former hall is comprised of four exhibition areas, which are Rare Stone, Gemstone and Jade, Palaeobios, and Geological Knowledge. The latter hall displays fossil skeletons of three dinosaurs, and their precious eggs and footprint fossils.
