Jilin’s first alliance of AAAA scenic areas formed

Songhua Lake, Vanke Resort, Rime Island and Shengxin Chateau signed an agreement to form Jinlin Province’s first alliance of AAAA-level scenic areas on June 27.

Under the alliance proposed by the tourism development commissions of Jilin Province and its Jilin City, the four scenic areas will integrate their resources to seek win-win development.

Over 50 travel agencies and 30 media organizations in Jilin sent representatives to the signing ceremony.

The alliance, as a response to the diverse tourist needs nowadays, is expected to offer tourists more options of travelling that are easier and more cost-effective while driving economic growth in surrounding areas of the scenic areas involved.

The alliance will roll out products highlighting Jilin’s mountain and water views in summer and rime, ice and snow and hot-spring resources in winter. Such products are expected to become a calling card of the Jilin’s tourism industry.

The alliance is also part of Jilin City’s efforts to apply for an AAAAA status for Songhua Lake Scenic Area and become a model for integrating tourism with other industries.

Responsible persons of the four scenic areas pledged to shift the ways of people travelling Jilin City. Currently, most people travel Jilin City in a hurried way for the lack of well-designed tourism products and they are expected to stay longer and tour around in a more comfortable and delightful way in the future as the alliance rolls out various tour routes.
