Northeast China's Jilin province promoted its special tourism resources and image at a promotion event held on May 31 in Shenzhen, Guangdong province. Over 500 people from the press and tourism sector attended the event and witnessed the deep cooperation in tourism market between Jilin and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The difference between Jilin and Guangdong in tourism resources has an appeal, said Jing Junhai, governor of Jilin, at the event. Jilin has late spring and early autumn. The province has spring flowers, cool summer, and clear and crisp autumn climate. In winter, it becomes an ideal ski resort. Noting the geographical difference and complementarity between Jilin and Guangdong in tourism resources, they may supplement each other.

He called for the two provinces to tie up in developing tourist routes and expanding tourism market, and Jilin would be turned into the ice and snow heaven for Guangdong residents and in summer they can escape the heat in Jilin.

Guests including Jiang Zaizhong, chairman of Hong Kong Federation of Journalists, Zhang Guoliang, president of Hong Kong Federation of Journalists, Sheng Yiping, editor-in-chief of Daily Mirror in Hong Kong, Chen Yin, director of Shenzhen Press Group, and Yue Chuanjiang, president of Shenzhen Media Group attended the event and witnessed the deep cooperation in tourism market between Jilin and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
