Tour guide contest produces tourism ambassadors for Jilin

The finals of the 2018 tour guide contest of Jilin was hosted in Changchun, the provincial capital, on Dec. 7, following eight months of preliminary rounds of competition that shortlisted 13 finalists out of 600 student participants from 20 colleges and universities.

Fan Yingyue from Jilin University won top prize of the contest. Li Jiaqi and Ma Quanfeng came in second and third places. The winners will help promote the unique tourism resources of Jilin, including beautiful natural environment and rich culture.

The event was organized by the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Jilin Radio and Television Station.

Yang Andi, director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Xu Yunpeng, director of the Jilin Radio and Television Station, attended the event.
