Jilin Civil Airport Group Company promotes air travel and tourism integration

To promote integration of air travel and tourism, Jilin Civil Airport Group Company held a 2019 summer flights promotional meeting on March 26.

Tourism authorities, airlines, travel agencies, scenic areas and air ticket sellers across Jilinprovince attended the event.

Changchun Longjia International Airport operates according to its summer flight schedule from March 31 to October 26.

According to the group company, the airport will operate 2,074 flights a week during the summer season, including 184 new ones, and there will be 32 airlines flying to 71 Chinese and foreign cities regularly.

Among the airlines, Guilin Airlines is a new comer.  

Among the airport's city destinations, Chifeng in Inner Mongolia, Yuncheng in Shanxi, Rizhao in Shandong, Xiangyang in Hubei, Mianyang and Luzhou in Sichuan and Lijiang in Yunnan are new; there are also flights to Japan's Nagoya and Vietnam's Nha Trang.

The airport now accommodates 38 aircraft for overnight stay, including eight new ones from Eastern Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Air China, Kunming Airlines and Loong Airlines.

Of all the flights in a day, 40 percent depart before 13:00.

Domestically, there are 110 passenger routes to 61 cities.

Fights to Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Haikou number eight and more per day on average.

Flights to Kunming, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Changsha, Qingdao, Tianjin, Jinan and Shijiazhuang number 5 and more per day on average.

Internationally, there are eleven air routes to ten cities. Specifically, there are 18 flights bound for Seoul a week, 2 for Tokyo, 2 for Nagoya, 2 for Vladivostok, 5 for Bangkok, 4 for Singapore, and 2 for Nha Trang a week.

Besides, there are eight flights to Taipei a week and two flights to Hong Kong.

For domestic travelers whose transfer takes at least two hours at T2 terminal of Changchun Longjia International Airport, they no longer have to claim their baggage during the transfer. They can get the boarding pass and baggage tag for the second leg of their journeys with the pass and tag for the first leg. Their baggage will be transferred by airport staff members.

Yanji Chaoyangchuan International Airport, another airport of Jilin province, will have onemore aircraft from China Eastern Airlines for overnight stay this summer season, and it will start operating flights to Jinan in Shandong, Qinhuangdao in Hebei, and Yancheng and Wuxi in Jiangsu. In addition, it will improve its direct air route to Ningbo and add more flights to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Weihai and Dalian.

Changbai Mountain Airport will add flights from Changbai Mountain to Dalian (9 Air), to Harbin (China Express Airlines), to Shenyang (Shenzhen Airlines), to Changchun (Qingdao Airlines), to Jinan (Shandong Airlines) and to Qingdao (Shandong Airlines).

Representatives of different airlines introduced their domestic and international air routesand related services at the meeting.

The promotional meeting is part of a series of marketing activities Jilin Civil Airport Group Company plans to roll out jointly with airlines that also include routes that incorporate both air and high-speed-railway travel and discounted tickets tailored for students.
