"Me and My Motherland" performances staged in Jilin

As this year marks the 70^th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China and to enrich the cultural life of the public as required by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jilin Province, the Jilin Cultural Center, together with the Jilin Song and Dance Troupe, put on three art performances free of charge for the general public on September 5 to 7.

Altogether 200-strong people, including professional performers, college choruses and local residents, staged more than 40 shows at the performances.

The symphony concert on September 5 and the folk music concert on September 7 mainly presented classical songs from across China. And the art performance on September 6 has distinct local features with such performances as Korean ethnic dances and song-and-dance duets.

The performances were widely covered by Jilin's media outlets.
