Changbai Mountain-themed itinerant exhibition opens

Sponsored by the Changbai Mountain Protection Development Management Committee and the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and co-organized by the Bureau of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Changbai Mountain Protection Development Management Committee, the Jilin Provincial Cultural Center, and the Changbai Mountain Calligraphy and Painting Academy, an itinerant exhibition of Changbai Mountain-themed Chinese paintings opened at the Changbai Mountain Art Gallery on November 19.

Lasting until November 29, the exhibition would put on show over 100 paintings that could reflect the history, art, culture, people and scenery of Changbai Mountain.

Designed as a way to celebrate the 70^th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the exhibition also represented local effort to boost Changbai Mountain's cultural and tourism development through paintings.
