Jilin wins 3 awards at 'Chinese Travel Oscar'

Jilin made its way into three of the twelve annual travel influence rankings that were unveiled at the 7^th Chinese Travel Industry Development Annual Conference in Sanya on December 27.

The rankings, known as Chinese Travel Oscar, were sponsored by the China Tourism newspaper with guidance from the China Newspaper Association and the support from the institute for media research of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

Specifically, a promotion of summer travels to Jilin by the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism won a place in the ranking of the top 8 most influential marketing activities. Held from August and September 2019, the promotion also won an award for excellent cultural and tourism IPs at the 3^rd IAI Travel Awards earlier on.

Changbai Mountain Tourism Co., Ltd. was ranked among the 10 most influential tourism enterprises in terms of corporate social responsibility fulfillment.

The Chibei District of the Management Committee of the Changbai Mountain Protection and Development Zone was selected as one of the 10 best cases for developing integrated tourism.

As another recognition of Changbai Mountain’s efforts to promote eco tours and integrated tourism, Chibei District was included in the first batch of national demonstrative zones for integrated tourism development announced by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism on September 4.
