Sponsored by the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and organized by the National Ice and Snow Tourism Professionals Training Base and Ji'an City Bureau of Culture and Tourism, a training session on rural ice and snow culture and tourism was held in Ji'an city recently.

Through lectures, field investigations, seminars and hands-on experiences, trainees received targeted training at the session.

At lectures, they learned more about Jilin's ice and snow culture, the future of rural tourism, forest-themed study tours and marketing on We Media.

For field investigations, nearly a hundred trainees from Tonghua visited the Gao Ju Li Museum and Qianwan Village, where they held talks with local officials to learn about local rural tourism development.

To get a direct sense of Jilin's unique culture, trainees learned how to make Manchu papercut, straw artworks and local food.

At seminars, trainees, divided into five groups, exchanged what they had learned at the session, and representatives were selected to make a presentation on behalf of each group.

Organizers issued training course competition certificates to trainees at the end of the session.
