Jilin live streams International Museum Day activities

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Jilin turned online this year as it marked the International Museum Day on May 18 under the theme "Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion".

Activities were mainly organized in Meihekou city with Jilin Provincial Museum, Songhua Stone Museum in Baishan city, Changchun Museum and Changchun Confucius Museum also joining in with their own distinct activities.   

Focusing on presenting three historical and cultural sites protected at the national level, four calligraphy and painting works of the Jilin Provincial Museum, ancient inkstones made of Songhua stones, and the Dragon culture, the activities were all live streamed on Douyin, attracting some 1,000 engagements and over 50,000 likes.
