The second Jilin Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival kicked off at the Confucius Temple Square in Changchun on August 9.

The event would last until August 13.

Over 100 inheritors of intangible cultural heritage from around Jilin would present 80 intangible cultural heritage projects at the event which feature traditional skills, traditional fine art and traditional medicine as well as more than 500 kinds of intangible cultural heritage products.

Another highlight of the festival was five intangible cultural heritage performances from four provincial-level regions.

Besides, people could also buy intangible cultural heritage products, take part in interactive activities and listen to programs spreading knowledge about intangible cultural heritages either online or offline.

The festival was an effort of Jilin to promote the integration of culture and tourism.
