Jilin launches autumn tourism marketing program

Jilin recently launched its autumn tourism marketing program on social media platforms Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, Kuaishou and Chinese news and information content platform Jinri Toutiao in cooperation with the China Tourism News and the Jilin Radio and TV Station.

Popular Chinese singer Li Yugang, known for his cross-dressing performances, will interact with tourists on Weibo who post texts, images and videos of themselves exploring Jilin.

Besides, tourists will have the chance to win a big award from the Weibo account of the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the official Weibo account of Jilin if they post photos and videos with the hashtags #what do you do in Jilin in the autumn #the best autumn destinations of Jilin and their posts win in a public voting of the most beautiful autumn destinations in Jilin.

Jilin also launched featured content on Jinri Toutiao and Douyin which not only introduces Jilin's best autumn destinations but also teaches tips no how to get the best experiences and take good pictures of them.

The autumn marketing program also features a short video contest on Kuaishou promoting Jilin's 2020 Harvest Festival, encouraging farmers and cultural tourism network anchormen to shoot videos of Jilin's autumn views, village views and delicious food.

Experience Jilin's charm in autumn

Tourists can enjoy lake views at Jingyuetan Scenic Area in Changchun, Songhua Lake Scenic Area in Jilin city, Yalu River, and Baishan Lake and mountain views at Wunv Peak National Forest Park in Tonghua, Changbai Mountain, Liudingshan Cultural Tourism Area in Dunhua and Wukuishan Scenic Area in Meihekou.

Tourists can also go to Red Leaves Mountain Forest Park in Liaoyuan, Sifangding Scenic Area in Tonghua, and Red Rock National Forest Park in Huadian to watch autumn leaves or go to enjoy rural scenery in the North Latitude 44°·Jinzhu Flow of Sea Leisure Agricultural Tourism Spot in Jilin, Hantun Village, Manchu Town, Wula Street, Longtan District, Jilin and Fujiang Flower Sea. 

For a cultural experience, tourists can go to the Siping Battle Memorial Hall, the Museum of the Imperial Palace of the Manchu State in Changchun, and Yehe Nara Town in Siping.

In Jilin's Hunchun, tourists can take a look at three countries – China, Russia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea - at the same time. 

They can also experience the scenery of four seasons in a single day.
