Jilin promotes high-speed railway tour in neighboring regions

With the new snow tourism season soon to start, the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism launched a new tourism promotion campaign on October 26.

The campaign, which started first in Shenyang city, Liaoning province, mainly promoted easy access to Jilin by high-speed railway for tourists in neighboring regions due to northeast China's connection to the national railway network.

In Shenyang, the promotion, unlike campaigns before which focused mainly on introduction of cities and resources, presented tourism products and deals directly, which included 26 group tourism routes of five themes, six self-driving ice and snow tour routes and nearly 100 ice and snow facilities and the preferential policies for them.

In a meeting of the Jilin delegation, which consisted of government officials and representatives of tourism associations and businesses, with their counterparts in Shenyang, the delegation introduced Jilin's unique snow resources, professional ice and snow facilities and well-designed snow and ice tourism routes.

In addition to Shenyang, the campaign, which would last until November 6, would also include stops in Anshan city, Dalian city and Jinzhou city in Liaoning province, Qinhuangdao city, Zhangjiakou city and Shijiazhuang city in Hebei province, Tianjin and Beijing.
