Jilin to boost tourism consumption in new snow season with various measures

To boost tourism consumption during the new snow season, Jilin province has planned some 10 million yuan in the form of consumer coupons to encourage ice and snow-related consumption.

In addition, the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism will coordinate different localities and ice and snow business across the province to roll out 28 preferential measures including reduced or free tickets and other consumer discounts.

The department also pledged to uphold good-faith business operation and punish those committing rip-offs.

The department also required that strict safety measures be taken to ensure the safety of tourists for the new snow season.
