Foreigners experience cultural and tourism charm of Jilin

The Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism organized an activity for 60 foreigners from 22 countries, including both experienced tourists and teachers and students in Jilin, to experience the cultural and tourism charm of the province recently.

One focus of the activity was to promote Jilin's ice and snow resources. Participants went to Luneng Resort, Lushui River and Changbai Mountain among other places to get a direct and all-round sense of Jilin's unique ice and snow products and the development of the local ice and snow industry.

A second focus of the activity was to promote traditional cultural and intangible cultural heritages of Jilin, including Peking Opera, calligraphy, Tai Chi and paper cutting. Participants were brought together at a session to share experiences and exchanger ideas in this respect.

The experienced foreign tourists participating in the activity published over 50 related posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WeChat and Douyin. Forty-seven overseas media outlets covered the activity. Meanwhile, a video about the activity was played at busy business areas of Seoul, Kuala Lumpur and Berlin for 45 times. In addition, Feng Huang Zhuan Qu will play a video about the activity every day for a year, which is expected to reach 75 million overseas tourists.
