Training session held for cultural workers to further promote public square dancing

To further develop public square dancing in Jilin province, a training session was held in Siping city from May 11 to 13 for those in charge of public square dance creation at various mass art and cultural centers of the province.
The session, sponsored by the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, was part of Jilin's training program to develop public culture.
Nearly 60 core cultural workers from mass art and cultural centers at different levels across the province attended the session.
Cui Lili, Qiao Zhiyou and Zhaolimin, three dancing experts from Jilin Provincial Cultural Center, Dalian City Cultural Center and Henan Provincial Cultural Center respectively, gave lectures on the social effects and popularization of public square dancing, the methods for creating public square dancing and how to prevent injuries when dancing, and on making public square dancing more beautiful, respectively.
The experts also gave personal instructions to three public square dances at the Siping City Stadium.
In addition, trainees held in-depth discussions with the experts during the session.
