To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Publicity Department of the CPC Provincial Committee, the Party History Research Center of the CPC Provincial Committee and the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism opened an exhibition on Party centenary at the Jilin Provincial Museum on June 30.
Nearly 400 sets of photos and 400 sets of cultural relics from different historical periods went on show at the exhibition, including 15 national Class-I ones and 11 national Class-II ones.
The exhibits showed the glorious journey the CPC has travelled in the past 100 years, the historic achievements and changes in the cause of the Party and the country, and the history of the CPC pursuing theoretical explorations, struggling with perseverance, working for the people and sustaining revolutionary legacy.
The exhibition would help inspire and guide officials and members of the general public to work hard for the all-round rejuvenation of Jilin and national rejuvenation.
Many of the exhibits had never been exhibited before.
The exhibition also received support from 11 national and local museums from other provinces and regions, including the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the China Maritime Museum and the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, which lent 121 exbibits to the exhibition.
