A Winter Olympics-themed symphony concert was held in Changchun city, Jilin province on October 15 to promote Jilin's ice and snow tourism resources as the 2022 Winter Olympic Games to be held in Beijing early next year ignites people's enthusiasm for winter sports.

Famous conductor Chen Zhisheng from Taiwan conducted the symphony, which was organized and staged by the Jilin Provincial Symphony Orchestra and featured both western classic and modern ice and snow-themed tunes and original tunes by the orchestra.

The tunes performed either promoted the Olympic spirit or presented the charm of Jilin's ice and snow resources.
