Jilin to hand out 10m yuan in ice and snow consumption subsidy

As the annual Single's Day (11.11) online shopping festival approaches, Jilin province recently announced its plan to hand out 10 million yuan in ice and snow consumption subsidy to boost local winter tourism.

Application for the subsidy will last until November 25.

Consumers can get up to 750 yuan off their payment for orders of scenic areas and hotels together.

For tickets to scenic areas, up to 125 yuan can be taken off payment for orders of 500 yuan each.

The subsidies are available for designated ice and snow products on such tourism shopping sites and apps as Ctrip, Qunar, Fliggy, Learn Ski, and Travel in Jilin.

In addition, Jilin will launch special ice and snow product sections on the platforms.
