Select shows from 8th Jilin Farmers Cultural Festival staged

Select shows from the 8th Jilin Farmers Cultural Festival were put on stage again at the Dunhua Grand Theatre on December 15, sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Publicity Department of the CPC Yanbian Prefecture Committee, the Yanbian Bureau of Culture, Broadcast, TV and Tourism, the CPC Dunhua City Committee and the People's government of Dunhua city.

The shows represented the fruitful results Jilin had made in public culture development in recent years and displayed the high morale of Jilin's farmers working diligently in the new era.

The performance was livestreamed on the digital platform of the Jilin Cultural Center as well as a number of other provincial- and city-level digital platforms.

The eighth Jilin Farmers Cultural Festival, held from September to October, was an initiative of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, the Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Jilin Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Jilin Writers' Association to enrich the cultural life of local farmers and increase their sense of gain and happiness culturally with the theme of "Celebrating the Centenary of the CPC and Building a Happy Jilin."

Over 800 activities, held for close to 10,000 times, were organized both online and offline during the festival.
