The Jilin Provincial Museum will hold three new exhibitions to greet the Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year, recently.

The first exhibition features calligraphy and painting collections of the museum in the past seventy years since its founding, and will last for two months from January 25.

The works on show come from different periods of time in history from the Sui and Tang dynasties to modern times, including masterpieces in the history of Chinese calligraphy and painting.

The second one, opening on January 25, displays photos of tiger-related cultural relics, such as calligraphy, painting, porcelain, and folk customs, as 2022 is the year of the tiger.

The third one, also opening on January 25, was on the history of the Communist Party of China, with over 260 precious pictures about historical events, figures and heritages to go on show.
