Siping Martyrs’ Cemetery

Siping Martyrs’ Cemetery, situated in the northern suburbs of Siping at the Siping exit of Harbin-Dalian Highway, is a national red tourism spot. It is also one of China’s protected key memorial buildings for martyrs and one of the one hundred national patriotism educational bases. Covering an area of over 200,000 square meters, the cemetery was built in 1974 as the successor to a revolutionary cemetery built in 1951. Buried here are 725 known martyrs and around ten thousand nameless ones who scarified their lives in the four battles in Siping.
