Baishanhu Renyi Scenic Area

Known as “Lijiang River in North China”, the Baishan Lake Renyi Scenic Area covers 210 square kilometers among which the water surface takes up 90 square kilometers and land area occupies 120 square kilometers. As a national AAA-level scenic area, it is located in the upper reach of Songhua River about 20 kilometers from Jingyu County seat. The reservoir of Baishan Hydropower Station was formed by impounding the Songhua River by the station’s dam. The Baishan Lake runs around the mountain like a snake with a length of 90 kilometers, so it is called “Long (Dragon)” Lake. This area has not only engrossing scenery but also rich energy resources to be explored. Yuanyang Lake, Bailong Lake, islands of various sizes, nuclear power station, coal mines and other attractions will greet you one after another along your trip.
