Tongyu Lunar New Year Painting is well-known in China. It dates back to late Qing Dynasty and has been passed down for four or five generations in over a century, incorporating lunar New Year painting skills of other places in the course. The painstaking efforts of 50 painters have resulted in over 10 billion copies of more than 300 paintings published by ten Chinese publishing houses.
